Founded by Emmy-winning filmmaker Alex Z. Martinez and Emmy-nominated producer Sundee Manusakis, Myzomi Productions is an independent film and television production company devoted to bold, character-driven storytelling across narrative, documentary, unscripted, and branded content.
Alex Z. Martinez
Alex is a three-time Emmy-winning producer, filmmaker, and actor. He recently wrote, produced, and directed the award-winning dark comedy series Spanky, honored at Dances With Films and The Latino Film Festival (sponsored by HBO). He is currently wrapping post-production on his next project, Solitaire, which he also wrote and directed. His directing influences include Pier Paolo Pasolini, Werner Herzog, Spike Lee, John Cassavetes, Martin Scorsese, Hal Ashby, Paul Thomas Anderson and Wim Wenders.
Alex, who happens to also be my brother, produced our podcasts, videos, and this toolkit. His creativity shines through.
